Covenant Task Force Meetings

Posted February 21, 2010 at 1:53 PM

In the fall of 2009, the BCA Board established the Covenant Task Force to learn and give feedback to the BCA Board of Directors about the process of enforcement of Brandermill standards and covenants. Having reviewed the existing process with BCA staff, the Task Force is now ready to gather feedback from residents before submitting recommendations to the Board.

NRC representatives will be coordinating small neighborhood meetings in conjunction with the BCA Covenant Task Force to collect information about covenant and covenant enforcement issues. All gathered information will be kept confidential and will only be used to compile the Task Force's report to the BCA Board.

There is a sample template available to NRC representatives to assist in organizing and announcing their neighborhood meetings.  The template, which may be personalized to fit specific neighborhood information, may be obtained by e-mailing NRCinfo@BrandermillNRC.com.

The BCA Board has asked for resident feedback on covenant and covenant enforcement. The last time the community had an opportunity to give feedback was in 2007 when the Residential Design Standards were updated. Make your opinions and experiences known; participate in this important neighborhood meeting.

Residents living in neighborhoods without NRC representation should contact Mamie McNeal (Chair@BrandermillNRC.com) to coordinate their neighborhood covenant meetings.
